Overview |
ReCUB 2000 is a very simple game. You have to press in the same order, a sequence of buttons given by the computer. Initially, the sequence only consists in one button. As you are able to repeat the whole sequence, this increases. The game finishes when you make a certain number of mistakes. Read the general rules for more details. The idea was taken from an old game for children, called "Simon says". In this game there were four buttons of different colors. They indicated by means of lights and sounds, the sequence of buttons to press. ReCUB 2000 is fully-customizable. You can change the number and position of the buttons, the number of mistakes allowed, the speed of the sequence, the sounds, the music, etc. Also, you can change the graphics of the game, called "skins", and make your owns!. Read the configuration topics for a full explanation. The game has its own web page. You can visit this page for updates, more skins or sounds for this version, or other games from the same author. As you can see, the concept of ReCUB 2000 is not complicated, and this makes it a great game for children. But, with the configuration features, it can easily become an entire memory challenge for adults. A final comment: this game is freeware, so distribute it freely. |
